Here’s a easy & fast way to set the DAY of the week (SUN/MON, etc,). Use a drill (cordless or corded) that has a VARIABLE SPEED (not one or two speeds). Carefully attach it to the pulled out stem by spinning the drill head until it gently attaches to the watch stem. While holding the watch against the drill, SLOWLY start the variable speed drill, let it go around slowly until you get the hang of it - BUT DON’T SPIN IT TOO FAST, remembering to make sure you know when it’s midnight and the correct DAY of the week starts to show up & turn, then you know you are in the early morning. Carefully remove the drill (by spinning the drill head), and then set your exact time by spinning the knob manually. Then you push in the knob 1/2 way, then set your DATE. It took me less than 2 minutes this way, and did not hurt the watch (so far). Was always frustrating not having the DAY of the week accurate, now it’s fixed.
